Quality Policy

SCI International Trust Center

Engineering discipline from requirement review to lifecycle support

SCI is committed to delivering environmental simulation and ultra-low-temperature systems that meet agreed requirements, perform reliably and support traceable customer acceptance. Quality is a shared responsibility across application engineering, design, sourcing, manufacturing, inspection, delivery and service.

Our quality commitments

  • Customer and application focus: clarify samples, test profiles, standards, site conditions, safety needs and acceptance criteria before final configuration.
  • Controlled design: apply documented review, risk assessment, change control and verification appropriate to the complexity of each standard or customised system.
  • Responsible sourcing: evaluate critical suppliers and components against technical, quality, availability and lifecycle-support requirements.
  • Process discipline: use defined manufacturing, assembly, inspection and testing procedures, with clear responsibility and records at key control points.
  • Measured performance: verify agreed functions and key performance before shipment through inspection and factory acceptance testing appropriate to the product and contract.
  • Traceability: maintain equipment identification and relevant design, inspection, calibration, nonconformity and service records in accordance with internal and contractual requirements.
  • Calibration awareness: use suitable measuring equipment and maintain calibration or verification status where measurement validity affects product acceptance.
  • Nonconformity control: identify, contain, investigate and correct nonconforming work, and use root-cause analysis and corrective action where appropriate.
  • Competence: develop the technical and quality capabilities of employees whose work affects product and service results.
  • Continual improvement: use customer feedback, service data, internal review, risk analysis and process performance to improve products and operations.

Working with customers

Quality depends on a clear, shared specification. SCI works with customers to define performance ranges, loads, utilities, interfaces, options, safety requirements, documentation and acceptance methods. Where a customer standard or internal method applies, its relevance and achievable chamber performance must be confirmed in the final technical agreement.

Factory acceptance and release

Before shipment, equipment is released through the inspection and test activities defined for the model and project. FAT scope, witness arrangements, reports, calibration evidence and third-party inspection are provided where included in the written order or technical agreement.

Governance

Management is responsible for maintaining this policy, providing appropriate resources and reviewing the effectiveness of the quality system. All employees and authorised partners are expected to protect product conformity, report risks and support corrective action.

This policy is reviewed periodically and communicated to relevant personnel and interested parties.
