SCICOOLING was invited to participate in the drafting of the standard “GB/T 10586 Technical Conditions for Temperature and Humidity Test Chamber.”
In response to the call and invitation from the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Laboratory Instruments and Equipment (TC526), Dr. Hong Hui, Director of SCICOOLING’s Research Institute, attended the “Kick-off Meeting for the Drafting of the National Standard for Technical Conditions for Temperature and Humidity Test Chamber” held in Kunming, Yunnan on March 16~17, actively offering suggestions and contributing to SCICOOLING’s contribution to the national standards work!
SCICOOLING is a well-known domestic manufacturer of environmental test equipment and a member of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Laboratory Instruments and Equipment (SAC/TC526). SCICOOLING has always been actively involved in the development of relevant standards. Dr. Hong Hui, Director of the SCICOOLING Research Institute, offered suggestions on the revisions to the standards at the meeting. After the meeting, SCICOOLING, following the working group’s requirements, conducted damp heat tests using the company’s products and submitted the results to the group secretariat.
This participation in the drafting of the “GB/T 10586 Temperature and Humidity Test Chamber Technical Conditions” standard marks SCICOOLING’s second involvement in drafting and approving important product standards in the environmental testing industry following the “GB/T 10592 Temperature Test Chamber Technical Specifications.”
The standard “GB/T 10586 Technical Conditions for Temperature and Humidity Test Chamber” introduces: It specifies related terms and definitions, technical requirements, usage and installation conditions, main inspection instruments and devices, inspection methods, inspection rules, marks, user manuals, as well as packaging, transportation, and storage related to temperature and humidity test chambers. A test chamber suitable for conducting damp heat tests on products, components, and materials during R&D, production, and inspection. This draft of the standard is the first revision since 2006.
