Exhibition introduction
The China International Nuclear Power Industry Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the Nuclear Power Exhibition) was founded by the State Council Nuclear Power Office in 1995. After the State Council’s institutional reform in 1998, it was hosted by the newly established Commission for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. After the establishment of the Nuclear Energy Industry Association in 2007, the association took over the hosting process. To date, it has been held thirteen times, with 2021 marking the 14th edition. Over the past 20 years, the Nuclear Power Exhibition has received guidance and care from relevant State Council departments such as the National Energy Administration, the National Defense Science and Technology Industry Administration, the National Nuclear Safety Administration, and local governments. It has also attracted attention and recognition from national leaders. Leaders such as then Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang and Vice Premier Ma Kai have visited the exhibition and provided care and guidance to the work of participating Chinese and foreign enterprises. The Nuclear Power Exhibition also received strong support from numerous domestic enterprises and institutions in the nuclear energy field, including construction, operation, research institutes, and universities, attracting significant attention from the nuclear energy communities of various countries. Nuclear power companies from more than ten countries and regions across Asia, Europe, and the Americas enthusiastically participated. China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) Co., Ltd., China General Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd., State Power Investment Corporation Limited, China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., China Datang Group Co., Ltd., China Energy Investment Corporation Limited, China Three Gorges Corporation Limited, Harbin Electric Group Co., Ltd., China Dongfang Electric Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Nuclear Power Office and the Sichuan Provincial Major Technical Equipment Leading Group Office, among other units, will continue to serve as supporting units for this year’s nuclear power exhibition. The China International Nuclear Power Industry Exhibition has become a grand event showcasing the development achievements of China’s nuclear energy industry, a platform for exchange and cooperation between Chinese and foreign nuclear power enterprises, and a window for the public to understand nuclear energy. In 2015, the Nuclear Power Expo was recognized by the Ministry of Commerce as a national guiding and supported exhibition.
