In June, we received exciting news: SCICOOLING’s application to Huairou District for the 2019 district-level employee innovation studio was approved.
01 Studio Introduction
The predecessor of the Innovation Studio was the R&D Division, established in May 2018. Its original intention was that SCICOOLING, as a high-tech enterprise focused on technological research and innovation, required continuous R&D investment in new technologies and processes. The R&D Division was organized and established by the company’s Deputy General Manager of Technology, Li Guo. Other personnel are the backbone of each department, taking on important tasks in their respective positions. Among them, key member Dr. Hong Hui was awarded the title of Superconducting Power Equipment Research Hong Hui Studio by the Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions in 2012, making it one of the few innovation studios named after individuals at the time.
02 Honor History
After the establishment of the R&D division, regular meetings and discussions were arranged among members, and training in refrigeration, control, and assembly was organized. Efforts were devoted to various R&D tasks, achieving remarkable results and awards:

- Excellent Product Award at the 12th China International High-Tech Achievements Exchange Conference
- Winner of the China Advanced Technology Transformation and Application Competition
- Design patented touchscreen stand (rotating type)
With the continuous improvement and maturity of the R&D division’s work, in 2019 SCICOOLING applied to Huairou District to establish an employee innovation studio. The studio was named after Li Guo, the founding deputy general technical officer and was ultimately approved.
03 Inspection and plaque awarding
The plaque awarding ceremony after approval was postponed due to the pandemic. Finally, on the afternoon of July 29, Xiao Lianqing, Chairman of the District Federation of Trade Unions, Minister Li Wenxing, Chairman of the Huairou Park Trade Union Li Jianrong, and Vice Chairman Chen Xiaojing personally visited SCICOOLING to formally present the plaques for the innovation studio and to conduct an inspection of innovation work.
SCICOOLING’s Product Center Deputy General Manager Liguo, Technical Director Hong Hui, Union Chairwoman Li Xiaojing, and members of the Innovation Studio team received the guests.
During the inspection, Liguo, Deputy General Manager of the Company’s Product Center, introduced SCICOOLING’s growth story, the honors and achievements of the innovation team to the attendees, and the progress of R&D projects. After listening to Mr. Xiang’s detailed introduction, all the experts present expressed a deeper understanding of SCICOOLING, affirmed and recognized SCICOOLING’s ongoing technological R&D and innovation work, and pledged to provide greater support and assistance to jointly promote the sustainable development of high-end technology R&D and innovation.
With the official establishment of the Innovation Studio, we have opened a new chapter in the company’s R&D and innovation efforts, and with government assistance, we will move toward higher platforms. Mr. Xiang also represented SCICOOLING in expressing its unwavering commitment to technological research and innovation, fearless of difficulties, and determination to ride the waves!
