New discovery: nearly half of the academicians come from SCICOOLING clients
On November 21, the results of the 2025 Chinese “Two Academies” academician election were announced: a total of 144 people were elected, including 73 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 71 of the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
Interestingly, the editor made a surprising finding on the list: out of 144 top scholars, 69 (nearly half!) ) all come from SCICOOLING’s client units! You read that right: 47.9% of newly appointed academicians come from these 25 research institutions, universities, and leading enterprises that work closely with SCICOOLING. Just how hardcore is this “Cradle of Academicians” list?

Beihang University: One of the “big winners” in this round of selection, adding 4 new academicians of the Academy of Sciences! As one of the renowned “Seven Sons of National high-reliability” in Chinese universities, Beihang University was founded in 1952. It is the first higher education institution in aerospace in New China, directly managed by the central government, and is part of the national 211 Project + 985 Project + “Double First-Class” construction university, earning it the reputation as the cradle of Chinese aerospace engineers. Since 2007, multiple departments at Beihang University have successively purchased SCICOOLING environmental test equipment for scientific research. To date, there are about 50 various test chambers, including temperature test chambers, temperature and humidity test chambers, fast temperature transformers, walk-in types, shock chambers, ultra-low temperature chambers, high-temperature chambers, rotary table supporting chambers, Altitude test chamber, etc.
CNNC Group: Three experts elected as academicians, once again demonstrating the strength of the “national team”! As one of China’s top ten high-reliability industry groups, CNNC Group is a Fortune Global 500 enterprise, the main body of China’s nuclear technology industry, and a national team and main force in promoting nuclear energy development and utilization, nuclear engineering construction, and nuclear technology application. It is a pioneer of China’s nuclear technology and has successively created multiple “New China’s Firsts.” Since 2009, CNNC Group’s subsidiaries have successively purchased SCICOOLING environmental test equipment in bulk for nuclear industry production and testing. To date, there are about 400 various test devices, mainly ultra-low temperature equipment, partially replacing liquid nitrogen for low-temperature condensation and purification of raw materials.

SCICOOLING was founded in the pilot workshop of the Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It has focused on the environmental test equipment industry for 20+ years. It has now become a national high-tech enterprise, a drafting unit for industry national standards, and a national postdoctoral research workstation. It has passed dual quality management system certifications such as ISO 9001 and GJB 9001. Currently, the company has 10 major categories of environmental reliability test chambers, widely used in aerospace, high-reliability equipment, electronic information, research institutions, universities, new energy, vehicles, shipbuilding, and other industries.
